Daily Drool #5: Inject Melted Cheese Into Your Burgers At The Table

Daily Drool #5: Inject Melted Cheese Into Your Burgers At The Table

Just when you think you have seen every type of burger under the sun along comes something that completely blows your mind. A burger that is literally injected with melted cheese at your table, as you watch on, drooling.

Think something like this can only exist in your wildest, greediest dreams? Think again.

You’ll find this melted cheese burger in Abu Dhabi, at Firefly Burger. Here’s how it works: a normal burger is brought to the table by a waiter, along with a huge syringe and a pot of molten cheese.

We repeat: Molten. Cheese.

Now you could obviously just lift the bun off and pour the molten cheese on top, but where’s the fun in that? We love the dramatics of this.

Just look at the size of the syringe and the amount of melted cheese that goes into the burger. You can tell the waiter when enough cheese is enough, as they inject it through the brioche bun and down into the meat.

But c’mon… You’re hardly going to tell them to stop when it tastes so good.
