3. Mercury Chophouse
Mercury Chophouse is a locally owned steakhouse that is classic in style, with amazing service in a pristine dining room.
They have a large selection of steaks including New York strip, bone-in rib eye and filet mignon. Served traditionally, the portions are big and the sides perfectly balanced. When it comes to eating steak in Fort Worth it quite simply doesn’t get much better than this.
4. Lonesome Dove
Lonesome Dove first opened in 2000 and have been serving up local food to happy regulars for close to two decades now. The food is influenced by cultures of the West with a large selection of innovative steaks. It is, however, the steak that reigns supreme.
The Wagyu tomahawk or the fillet are the cuts we would suggest here. Both are cooked exactly to your liking; your face will light up with a huge smile when you taste that first mouthful.
5. Silver Fox Steakhouse
With three venues in the area, you can’t go wrong with a feast here. Silver Fox Steakhouse features USDA Prime steaks, fresh fish and cold water lobster. The best bet when eating here is to try a bit of them all, with a seafood appetiser and then the surf and turf to follow.
The dining room is formal, but with a relaxed and buzzing atmosphere. Add in a good bottle of red with the steak and you will be in heaven.
6. Cattlemen’s Steak House
A casual old school restaurant that first opened way back in 1947. With over 70 years in the business and a loyal following of customers, you know they are brilliant at what they do.
The portions are huge, the atmosphere always electric and the drinks that come with the steaks are what make it. Come hungry, ready for a good time and bring some good company. An experience you won’t forget in a hurry.

From the moment you pass through our doors, the unmistakable ambiance of Reata embraces you. For a truly unique experience their rooftop patio is the ideal place to eat steak and have a drink with friends.
