3. Epe Mangroves

The Epe mangroves are one of the best-kept secrets of Lagos. Take a 30 minute boat ride through the lush green groves and spot monkeys and alligators along the way.

4. Lekki Market

Lekki Arts and Crafts Market (Jakande Art Market) is a hidden market in the corner of the Lekki-Epe expressway. There’s beautiful crafts from different parts of Nigeria, as well as Ankara fabrics. Get your bargaining hat on and come early in the morning for the best experience!

5. Nok by Alara

This fine dining restaurant is reinventing what modern African food is all about. Nestled within a lush bamboo-framed garden, the restaurant itself is just as breathtaking as the food.

6. Nike Art Gallery

Textile artists, painters, sculptors, dancers and drummers… Nike Art Gallery is a hub for all things creative in Lagos. The centre is run by artist and Designer Nike Davies Okundaye, who also arranges traditional art workshops.

7. Wèré House

Wèré House is a creative space used for pop ups, photoshoots and all sorts of exhibitions, so there’s always something happening here. You’ll get a great Lagos Instagram shot with the funky exterior of the building!
