This spot is near the town of Alghero. It features 656 steps which take you down to the sea along the cliff face, as well as caves with stalactites and stalagmites.
3. Porto Cervo
In the summer this becomes the home to the world’s biggest yachts and some of the richest people in the world.

4. Su Nuraxi
This village has been UNESCO listed and features the “Nuraghe” structures which you’ll find all over the island, dating back to the bronze age.
5. Cala Cipolla
This tiny inlet is on the south of the island. The perfect place to spend the day jumping from the rocks into the refreshing water.

6. Chia
Some of the whitest sand and clearest water you’ll ever see is on this beach, which is just a short drive from the capital Cagliari.
Get here early though because it does get busy in the summer months.

This beach is completely different to the more touristy varieties found closer to the population. You’ll often find it completely deserted.
