Here Are The Best Places In Ibiza For Nightlife

7 Best Places In Ibiza For Nightlife

Ibiza, the White Island, is one of Europe’s most popular party islands. It is a slice of heaven in the Mediterranean, and its beautiful beaches attract partygoers worldwide. The nightlife on the island is incredibly varied, too, and the vibe is bohemian and free-spirited. You’ll find it here whether you are looking for laid-back beach bars or mega clubs with superstar DJs. One of the best things about the nightlife in Ibiza is dancing the night away on the sand whilst the waves lap at your feet. Ready to head to the party island? Here are some of the best places in Ibiza for nightlife.

Best Places in Ibiza for Nightlife

1. Playa d’en Bossa

1. Playa d’en Bossa

Playa d’en Bossa is on the east side of the island. It is the main hub of partying. The atmosphere is energetic day and night. Here you’ll find beach clubs, pool parties, and super clubs galore. The strip comes alive at night with neon lights and booming music. As for where to go? Ushuaïa is an iconic open-air club that has hosted many international DJs, and Hï Ibiza is just across the road and is a state-of-the-art super club. You’ll also find live music bars, sports lounges, tapas bars and chic lounges in this area.

2. Santa Eulalia

2. Santa Eulalia

If you are after something a bit quieter, head over to Santa Eulalia. This town on the east coast towards the north has no big clubs but a terrific selection of restaurants and bars. It is perfect for a chilled-out evening and a few drinks with mates. Bars and restaurants line the broad promenade that cuts through the marina alongside the beach. Lovely surroundings accompany a night here.

3. Ibiza Town

3. Ibiza Town

Located on the island’s southeast coast, Ibiza Town, otherwise known by its Catalan name Eivissa, is very pretty. You’ll find many bars adorned with fairy lights in Dalt Vila, the old town, to shisha along the port. An array of bars and restaurants line the port and these spill out to the waterfront, with a sparkling view of the marina. The bars here close at 1 am – early by Ibiza standards – so this is a good place to enjoy drinks before heading to a late-night venue. In Ibiza Town, you’ll find the world-famous Pacha nightclub, its sister venue Lío, and HEART Ibiza, which was dreamed up and brought to life by the brothers that brought you the Cirque du Soleil.

4. San Carlos

4. San Carlos

San Carlos is just ten minutes away from Cala San Vicente, San Juan and Santa Eulalia. The village of San Carlos is an interesting nightlife alternative. Famous for being a mecca for hippies, San Carlos rose to fame in the 1960s. The hub of San Carlos is Anita’s Bar. San Carlos also has a variety of bars offering live music, DJ sets and performances every night of the week. The best club in the village is the Akasha club.

5. San Rafael

5. San Rafael

San Rafael is a small village positioned between Ibiza Town and San Antonio. It embraces the original Ibiza bohemian, hippy vibe. It is home to some of the best nightlife in Ibiza, including the super club Privilege. This is the “world’s largest nightclub” with a capacity of 10,000 people. To put that into perspective, venues earn the title of ‘super club’ when they have a capacity of 3,000 and over. Also in San Rafael is Amnesia, a pillar of Ibiza’s nightlife for over five decades.

6. Es Cana

6. Es Cana

Es Cana nightlife might not be on the same hedonistic scale as other parts of the island, but there’s still plenty to do here for those who want to let loose at night. The best place to head for a night out is the waterfront, where you’ll find a number of bars and restaurants. Charlie’s Bar is the venue that draws the biggest crowds.

7. San Antonio

7. San Antonio

San Antonio is home to the West End strip. This is a famous (infamous) row of bars and pubs where you can enjoy a fish bowl or two! Sunset Strip – one of the most beautiful places on the island – is where you’ll find iconic spots like Cafe Mambo and Cafe del Mar. These are synonymous with chilled-out Ibiza and sunsets. Once the sun goes down, you can move to the livelier spots like Eden and Es Paradis.
