Ibiza is known across the world for its party scene, with one of Europe’s most celebrated nightlife scenes. Across the island, you’ll find a wide variety of popular attractions, bustling restaurants and shops and packed-out beaches. But, away from all the things that make Ibiza so well-known, there's a whole other world.
Ibiza’s best-kept secrets await you
Cala Llentrisca
This secluded fishing beach set deep in the cliffs is hard to find, but once you do get there, it’ll definitely be worth your while. Ibiza is known for its stretch of gorgeous coastline and lively beaches, but sometimes you want to escape the hustle and bustle and explore Ibiza in a more laid-back way. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax, paddle, sunbathe or watch the sunset without worrying about overcrowding, then this is a top contender. After a rocky walking trail through the cliffs, you’ll eventually reach this secluded cove, and boy, will it be worth your while when you do.
San Juan Labritja Village
One of the most secluded villages in Ibiza, this tiny, quaint village has much to offer despite its size. When you visit Ibiza, exploring a small village probably won’t be high on your must-visit list, but you won’t regret checking out this hidden gem. What you can do here includes visiting the weekly artisan market or attending the Fiesta de San Juan, which takes place in June. Or, if you want to enjoy a laid-back and unpretentious lifestyle, then this may be just the place for you. Explore, sightsee, or simply just stroll through this village and enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts.
Gates of Can Soleil
Like something out of a fantasy film, the mysterious gates of Can Soleil resemble a portal to another world– and who’s to say they’re not? The Gates of Can Soleil are definitely one of the more curious attractions in Ibiza, and despite locals and frequent visitors likely knowing a thing or two about them, for first-time visitors, they might be even more of a mystery. This work of art features two ornate wooden doors facing opposite each other, adorned with beautiful Arabic writing and engravings. Sunset or sunrise is arguably the best time to visit the gates, as you can line up the perfect picturesque shot of the horizon through the doors. It really is spectacular.
Amante Restaurant
This cliffside restaurant may be a favourite among locals and experienced explorers, but to those who are new to Ibiza and are looking for the best place to drink and dine, Amante Restaurant is the hidden gem you’re looking for. Perched over a beautiful cove, you can enjoy amazing views while sipping wine or your favourite cocktail and enjoying the best of Spanish cuisine. Amante truly is an experience, and one you’ll have a hard time forgetting.

Sa Pedrera Pools
After a long and somewhat steep hike down the rocky cliffs, you’ll find the Sa Pedrera tidal pools, commonly known as Atlantis Pools. For avid hikers, it’s likely the descent down to these pools won’t pose much of a challenge, but to those who aren’t very experienced, you might have to tread carefully, but the walk down is totally worth it.
Sa Figuera Cave
Also known as Cala Conta cave, this place truly is a hidden gem that you’ll be lucky to come across. This cave gives you perfect, undisturbed views of the Mediterranean and offers a tranquil escape from the busy crowds of Ibiza Town. Ibiza is known for its rocky cliffs that are made up of sandstone/limestone, and as such, many beautiful rock formations occur, with this being one of them. Sa Figuera Cave is perfect for the avid explorers among us, and those who want to see Ibiza in a whole different way.
Ibizkus Wine Tasting
It’s perhaps a little-known fact that Ibiza has a large wine and viticulture industry, with several vineyards and wine growing regions. Ibizkus Wines is known for being the main wine producer on the island, and they offer amazing wine tastings and tours, so if you’re looking for something fun to do with friends, alone or with your significant other, then this is a great contender. If you regularly visit Ibiza, or are a local, then it’s more than likely that you’ll have heard of Ibizkus, but to the uninitiated, this place might miss out on a spot in their trip itineraries. But it's a fantastic way to spend the day, especially if you like local sampling wines.
