1. Positano

The hillside town of Positano is a riot of sunny colours and flowers, with seaside views and a pretty pebble beach. The most popular place to visit along the Amalfi Coast, this is a place you’ll never forget.

2. Capri island

If you’re really lucky, you’ll have time to spend a couple of days out on this island. It is expensive though, so a day trip out from Naples is the best option for most. Climb to the top for lunch and some cracking vistas of the blue waters.

3. Belmond Hotel Caruso

This former 11th-century palace boasts all the worldly luxuries anyone could desire. Marbled hallways lead to rooms brimming with antiques. Paintings by old Renaissance Masters.

But the real jewel in the crown is the pool which has stunning views and which is made for spending a day lounging around.

6. Villa Rufolo

Built in the 13th-century, Villa Rufolo was one of the largest and most expensive villas on the Amalfi Coast. The garden of Villa Rufolo, known as the “Garden of the Soul”, overlooks the village of Ravello and the Amalfi Coastline. It’s a must-visit.

7. Fiordo di Furore

You’ll have the best views of this beautiful ‘fjord’ from the arching high bridge, which is popular with cliff divers.

The path to the beach is closed to the public due to rockfall, so you can only access it via boat. If you do want to drive just take note you’ll have the view, but you won’t be able to get onto the beach.
