These are the top seven spots you can’t afford to leave off your feed.
1. Cu Lan Village
This peaceful village at the foot of the beautiful Langbiang Mountain is a real oasis in Vietnam. Here, the K’ho, one of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam, live in stilt houses against the slope of the mountain. The wooden bridge just outside the village is a must-snap.
2. Buddha’s Hand
This unique wooden ‘lucky hand’ is at eco-tourism site Hoa Son Dien Trang. The resort is about 3km outside of Dalat, and also has scenic views, forest and gardens to explore.
3. Secret Garden Filming Studio
There’s some fantastic photography backgrounds at this filming studio, which is in a handy spot in the city centre. You can email to arrange a visit for some fun shoots and relaxing.
4. Pongour Waterfall
Pongour is one of the most famous waterfalls in the Dalat region, with water flowing down over seven terraces into a large pool below. It’s 40km from Dalat city, but is an easy drive on a moped.
5. The Lonely Tree
This lone pine tree has become somewhat of an Instagram sensation, thanks to its scenic setting in a pink field of flowers. The ‘Cay Thong Co Don’ (Lonely Pine Tree) is about 18km from the city.
6. Coffee Farms
Da Lat’s unique setting of 1,500m above sea level means that its lush fields produce world’s most amazing Arabica coffee beans. You can tour the coffee farms, taste the fresh coffee and take some great photos.
7. Cau Dat tea plantation
This beautifully green tea plantation has been in action since 1927 and produces incredible tea. Not only can you visit to see the picking of fresh tea leaves and try some brews, the tea fields look amazing as a Dalat Instagram memento.
