We’re obsessed with creating simple recipes that are ready in minutes. These chilli beef noodles are the perfect example. You might not be a professional chef, but with our cooking tips your dishes will be next level.

These noodles are have an amazing fire to them that comes from the dry chilli flakes, along with a great crunch from the mangetout. If you can get fresh noodles they are best, but dried noodles also work well. One ingredient to spend a little extra on? It would be the sirloin steak, helping out your local butcher with some business if you can.

Chilli Beef Noodles: Ingredients

  • Sirloin steak
  • Dried chilli
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Fresh noodles (dried will also work)
  • Soy sauce
  • Mangetout (or a similar crunchy green vegetable)

Start by slicing up the beef. You can leave the fat on for extra taste. Add as much chilli as you can handle, but do remember the dried version usually packs a serious punch.

Pop the noodles into a pot of boiling water. The whole dish only takes a couple of minutes to cook so get them on first. Add the beef to a piping hot frying pan or wok. The hotter the better!

Within seconds, add the ginger, garlic and mangetout. Because the pan is so hot you will only be cooking these for about 30-45 seconds.
