Nha Trang is a coastal town in Southern Vietnam that is best known for long beaches, a huge theme park and great diving sites off the coast.

Tourists flock to the destination all year-round, and with so many entertaining things to do it was hard keeping it down to just 7 of the most Instagrammable spots…

1. Skylight Rooftop bar

You’ll have to pay an entrance fee (which includes a free drink) but once you get to the top you’ll be rewarded with the best views in the town. There’s even a see-through glass floor if you’re brave enough to peer down to the ground below.

2. Nha Trang Beach

The beach seems as wide as it is long and if you get there early enough in the morning you’ll have it all to yourself to grab the perfect Instagram shot. It’s especially beautiful at sunrise.

3. Thap Ba Hot Springs

It’s all about relaxing here and the mud baths are a real highlight. Sit back and lather yourself in the mud, which is thought to have special healing properties and has been used by the locals for generations.

4. Ponagar Tower

Po Nagar is a Cham temple tower founded in the 700s but still in magnificent shape today after careful maintenance. You’ll find it in the medieval principality of Kauthara. You’ll find more info here.

5. Vinpearl Cable Car

One of the main attractions in the Nha Trang area is Vinpearl Land theme park, which is on its own island so you’ll have to get a cable car to get there. The ride offers stunning views across the bay and is especially pretty after sunset when it’s all lit up. You’ll find them here.

6. Vinpearl Waterpark

7. Ba Ho Waterfall

A decent drive from the town but well worth it. After a short hike (very manageable for all levels) your reward is a series of boulders and waterfalls that will take your breath away and are perfect for jumping into and cooling down.
