Tenerife is one of those classic holiday islands that attracts people all year round because of its wonderful weather, great food and beautiful scenery.

1. Cocktails at Papagayo Beach Club
Chances are you is that you are coming to Tenerife to have a good time and relax. This is probably the most famous beach club on the island so a snap here with cocktail in hand and the sun and beach in the background will have everybody on your feed in awe.

2. Playa de Las Teresitas
A beautiful sandy beach that is dotted with palm trees, which you will find in the town of San Andrés. Come early to get a beautiful Instagram shot before the crowds arrive.

3. Teide
You have to ride this cable car, which offers you the best trip up to Spain’s highest volcano. Experience flying over a geological treasure where volcanoes, craters and lava flows form an impressive array of colours and shapes that are unique in the world.

4. Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín
This is a stunning auditorium in Santa Cruz designed by architect Santiago Calatrava. Do catch a show or performance inside but it is the picture of the building from the outside that will be the most stunning shot.

5. Anaga Rural Park
This UNESCO world heritage site is the perfect place to explore and hike around. Try to do it early morning or late in the evening before the heat gets too much. Mountain peaks, wonderful forests and deep ravines offer up all sorts of wonderful photo opportunities.

6. The Pools at Garachico
You’ll find this town about 50km from the capital of Santa Cruz and while it offers endless cute photo opportunities around the town, you want to head out to the beautiful natural plunge pools around the coastline. Simply stunning if you catch them on the right day.

7. Benijo Beach
The perfect place to come and watch the sun set. You’ll find it in the Anaga Rural Park (Parque Rural de Anaga); if you get the right light with the jagged rocks in the background and beach in foreground you could have an epic Tenerife Instagram shot.
