3. Cinque Terre, Liguria

The five towns (Manarola, Riomaggiore, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare) are made for a romantic trip. 4. Pienza, Tuscany

What makes this village perfect for romantics is that the 1960s movie Romeo and Juliet was shot on location at the Piccolomini palace. The town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has incredible Renaissance architecture.
