Wyoming has endless natural beauty, including the Old Faithful geyser in Yellowstone Park. Nearly half of the Cowboy State’s land mass is public land—including national parks and monuments, forests, wildlife refuges and wilderness areas – making it the perfect place to escape.

As it’s such a beautiful state, we wanted to nail down the 7 best places to get an Instagram shot for that perfect travel photo. Get the camera out for these photogenic places…

1. The Snake River Overlook

Catch this spot in the right light and it looks like a real life oil painting.

2. Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

The canyon itself is approximately 24 miles long and between 800 and 1,200 ft in depth. Plus, there are plenty of hikes in the area to gain different vantage points.

3. Schwabacher’s Landing

Also known as bear lodge butte, this impressive natural structure rises 1,267 feet above the Belle Fourche River.

5. Tate Geological Museum

A wonderful place to suck up some culture and history but the highlight has to be the picture with the huge dinosaur outside.

6. Mormon Row

A historic district in Teton County, Wyoming, United that is picture perfect. Fun fact: the settlers first arrived here in the 1890s.
