One of the tastiest ways to sample Chinese cuisine, dim sum is a meal made up of small plates of dumplings and other snack dishes. Although you can find Chinese dim sum dishes all across China, this style of dining is mostly associated with Hong Kong and Guangdong Province (where Cantonese food comes from!). There’s so many amazing dim sum dishes to try, from char siu bao (roast pork buns) to ngau cheung (beef noodle rolls). Hot tea and a group of friends to share the dishes with is the perfect combination.

Making dim sum at home can seem difficult, but start with a few dishes and you’ll soon work your way up to a multi-plate feast!

You might not be able to travel there right now, but we wanted to highlight some of the best dim sum recipes from the region. These recipes come from the very best food bloggers in the world, so make sure to bookmark their sites.

Grab yourself some good fresh produce and invite some friends or family over. Time to get into the kitchen and to start cooking up some of these classics. The perfect way to test yourself if you are an aspiring home cook!
