This spot has a really complete brunch menu where there is a dish for everybody. Their avocado on toast as well as their poached eggs are seriously delicious.
Throw in great coffee, friendly service and an outside terrace for those rare warmer months, and this place is an absolute winner.
3. Cafe Strange Brew
Cafe Strange Brew is a simple, unassuming room where they let their food do the talking and it does so in some style. A brilliant brunch menu with great variety, inventiveness and super fresh produce.
The pancake stacks are so big; loaded with such unique and tasty toppings that you won’t ever want to stop eating them.
4. Stravaigin
Stravaigin is home to some of the very best cooking in Scotland, where they have brilliant chefs and use only the best produce.
An example of their inventive brunch menu is the grilled sourdough with chipotle scrambled duck egg, syboes, crème fraiche, seen below. Their brunch menu will make you re-think everything you thought about the meal.
5. Partick Duck Club
This place is often cited as some of the most inventive cooking in the UK and their brunch is no exception. As the name suggests, they are lovers of duck and it often features on all their menus.
A great example of their cooking is the 24-hour beef shin and duck egg benedict pictured below. A dish so good it will quite simply blow your mind.
6. Roastit Bubbly Jocks
Some great fine dining here, but they also have the knack of doing one of the best fried breakfasts in the whole city. The portion size is perfect and all the ingredients are bursting with flavour.
Come in on a Sunday for the perfect start to your day. Rumour has it that it can also clear any hangover instantly.
7. Cafezique
Worth coming here to try one dish alone which is their Eggs Rabbie, Poached eggs, haggis, hollandaise sauce, on a toasted muffin (pictured below).
The rest of the menu is also superb and with the room spread across two levels, it is always buzzing. A great place to start the weekend.
