Along with Paris, Rome and Venice, Prague is an idyllic city for romance. Whether you’re with someone new or in a long term commitment, this ancient city is the perfect place to enjoy each others company. As you can imagine, there is no shortage of romantic restaurants for Valentine’s Day in Prague.

We took out the guess-work for you and found the best ones. Book a table at any one of these February 14th-worthy restaurants.

The Best Restaurants For Valentine’s Day In Prague

1. Celeste Restaraunt

This panoramic dining room packs a punch with views over Vlatva River and Prague Castle. Enjoy the view with a fresh pinot blanc and a bed of crisp apple salad while waiting for your main course. Celeste is known for their fresh and juicy seafood, most famously the turbot fillet with seaweed.

2. Petrinske Terasy

Petrinske Terasy is home to Petrin Hill and some of the most romantic views in the city. Whether inside or on the patio, views of Old Town and Vltava River will set the scene for a perfect date night. The atmosphere is homey, yet sophisticated, and their menu offers a wide selection of meat-heavy dishes. Their pork ribs are known as some of the best in the city and go great with a beer.

3. Restaurace Bellevue

Situated on the river bank in the heart of Old Town, is one of the most picturesque spots in Prague to enjoy dinner. Known for their gourmet Czech specialities, Bellevue is a favourite among tourists and locals alike. Stunning views of the castle with an ideal location and stellar service make Bellevue one of Prague’s best. We recommend their veal or venison for a hearty and filling date meal.

4. U Modre Kachnicky

Stepping into U Modre Kachnicky is like stepping back 100 years. The upholstered chairs, thick drapes, peacock feathers and boho wallpaper make for a romantic and stylish 1920’s setting. In English, the name translates to In The Blue Duck, so it’s no surprise that duck is their speciality. We recommend it roasted with their walnut stuffing.

5. U Try Zlatych Hvezd

U Try Zlatych Hvezd, or The Three Golden Stars in English lies in a three-century-old building near St. Nicolas Church. It’s cellar dining area with candlelit tables for two make it a no brainer for couples looking for something special on Valentine’s Day. We recommend the roast duck paired with the waiter’s recommendation of wine.
