The Belgian capital is a wonderful place for a weekend break with great things to see and do, and all the best thing to eat – from waffles to chips to keep you well fed and feeling good about life.
If there’s one thing that Belgium is known for it’s their great beer and the Brussels bars are some of the best in the world.
Grab a drinking buddy and enjoy everything that Brussels has to offer…
1. Delirium Café
This Brussels bar was given a Guinness World Record in 2004 for having a whopping 2005 different beers on the menu. You’ll find it just a few hundred metres from the Grand Place.
Somewhat of a religious pilgrimage for serious beer drinkers.

2. Chez Moeder Lambic
A place for true beer lovers. It would be called a ‘craft beer bar’ anywhere else in the world, but this is just a good classic Brussels bar. There’s close to 50 beers on tap with even more choice in bottles if that just isn’t enough for you.

6. L’Ermitage
A very recent addition to the brewing scene in Brussels, having opened in 2017. They offer great tasting trays as well as beers that are not afraid to push the rules of what is usually on offer in Brussels bars.

You’ll find this modern brewery in the lively Sainte-Catherine area and it shows that young Belgians are not sitting on their laurels when it comes to the next generation of great beer. Well worth the trip if here on holiday.
