In fact, last year, Skyscanner released data showing that an average plane ticket purchased for travel in the month of January costs close to $20 less than during the coveted shoulder season month of September. And, it’s over $130 cheaper to fly in January than it is in December. Whew, aren’t you glad you saved up those vacation days?
