During the summer, this fun Chinese night market in Richmond is free for those under 13 or over 60 ($2.75 for everyone else) and is definitely worth the trip to dig into fried squid, fish balls, nitrogen ice cream, and Chinese knick- knacks. There’s over 100 stalls to browse around.

3. Hike the Grouse Grind

The famous Grouse Grind hike is a must-do for outdoorsy people. Your legs might hate you afterward, but the views at the top are insane. Hiking up is free, but you’ll need to pay the $10 for the gondola ride down.

4. Spend an afternoon in Stanley Park
