Utah is famous for its many campsites for sleeping under the stars in a National Park, but if the thoughts of ‘pitching the tent’ fill you dread, then fear not. There’s plenty of luxurious places to go glamping in Utah. You can experience the vast outdoors without giving up any home comforts.

1. Conestoga Ranch Bear Lake

This rustic ranch is on Highway 89, the scenic route to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park.

As well as classic grand canvas tents, they also offer the option to glamp in a 4-person or 6-person prairie-style wagon. You’ll forget you’re sleeping outside with all of the resort amenities, including a general store, restaurant, game tent, laundry and bathhouse. Yoga classes and massages are available as well as complimentary cruiser bikes, cooking classes and wine seminars.

2. Under Canvas – Moab

Under Canvas Moab is an eco-friendly camp that lies just 7 miles north of Moab near Utah’s famed Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. Deluxe tents have plush kingsize beds, woodburning stoves and hot showers. Enjoy the night stars on your private deck before retreating into your upscale tent kept warm by a wood-burning stove.

WiFi is not available at the resort, but camp amenities include daily housekeeping, battery packs to keep your devices charged, boxed lunches, gas grills, fire pits with s’ mores and organic bath products.

3. Zion Backcountry Glamping – Orderville

Near the east Entrance to Zion National Park, Zion Backcountry Glamping offers the unique option to stay in a converted sheep camp wagon. It’s a traditional wagon that now has comfy beds and fluffy rugs. The campsite also has larger yurts, which sleep up to nine adults.

The camp has hammocks, yoga mats, board games, books and a horseshoe pit and cornhole game to keep you entertained.

4. Capitol Reef Resort – Torrey

Capitol Reef Resort offers a wide variety of stays from glamping in teepees and Conestoga wagons to hotel rooms and cabins. Something for all tastes and comfort levels! The luxury teepees can sleep two people, are decorated with a classic western motif and and have air conditioning, a large flat-screen television and a private bathroom. The camp also has a heated outdoor pool and hot tub.

It’s just one mile from Capitol Reef National Park, so you can explore almost 100 miles of natural wonders, including cliffs, canyons, domes and natural bridges.

5. BaseCamp 37

This resort’s location is perfect for travellers planning to visit Kanab, Zion National Park, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, The Wave and Antelope Canyon.

At this glamping resort, you’ll find five luxury safari-style tents with king-size beds with fancy linens. Expect other thoughtful details too, like a small cooler and headlamps. Every night, there’s an evening S’mores ritual around the glampsite’s firepit, with unbeatable stargazing views.

Their large tents include comfortable queen beds, luxurious bedding, table, chairs and lantern. On site activities includes roasting marshmallows and hot dogs around the campfire, playing horseshoe, or practicing your roping skills with a plastic stear head!
