2. Room 901
Room 901 is sleek and modern with a whimsical interior. The walls are a combination of reclaimed wood, exposed brick or even covered in old books while lamps hang upsidedown from the ceiling. The bar shakes up excellent classic cocktails as well as special drinks like a mezcal-hibiscus tea sour. You really can’t go wrong.
3. Mandarin Hide
This stylish, low-lit bar is always buzzing. Its elegant and quirky atmosphere speaks to the menu which features classic cocktails and well-balanced signature drinks for something new. They’ve created more than 2,500 drinks and use inventive methods to switch things up such as an array of ice forms, smoking cocktails or even aging them.

5. Right Around the Corner
This dog-friendly brewpub with vintage arcade games is the perfect setting for a relaxed afternoon or night. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and a koozie- and snack-vending machine inside. Order an Oreo Cookie Stout, and get at the skee ball.
6. Independent Bar St. Petersburg
This beer hall features plenty of outdoor seating and is another great option for a chill night out. The atmosphere is laid back and the bar is clean and polished. The service is great and the selection of beer is even better.
7. Mad Hatter Ethnobotanical Kava Bar
If the bars are closing, but you’re not ready for the night to end, head here. They’re open 24-hours per day and serve loose-leaf teas, kava, kratom and hookah. There’s an outdoor patio where you can play board games or play pool inside.
Though they don’t serve alcohol, kava and kratom are herbal-based drinks that mimic the same relaxing effects of alcohol. Weekly events include everything from yoga to fire dancing.
