One of the best swimming holes in the Cairns area, this scenic spot is still a little secret so chances are you’ll have it all to yourself. To get there, take the path at the top of the car park at Crystal Cascades and keep walking up the creek for 15 minutes until you arrive.
While you can get here by boat or jet skis, one of the most popular ways to get to the cay is by helicopter. It’s not the cheapest experience but it’s easily one of the most Instagrammable views you’ll have in Cairns. Look out at the picturesque coral-studded reef and get snapping.
