Edmonton’s oldest indoor farmer’s market, there’s 130 vendors every Saturday with vibrant locally grown produce and specialty foods. Even the outside of the market is a perfect photo spot.
This controversial sculpture of nearly 1,000 hand crafted stainless steel spheres reflects the landscape and is a prime selfie spot. It’s been vandalised several times but we reckon it’s a great Edmonton Instagram location.
Located just under the 99 Avenue bridge, this is a funky photo spot. Head to the graffiti streetcar tunnel near the Jasper Plaza terminal filled with intricate black and white art.
Hop on this pretty boat for weekend brunch, dinner, or just a beautiful sunset cruise. You’ll cruise down the North Saskatchewan River with endless photo ops along the way.
The views from the top deck of the bridge are both spectacular and exhilarating. You can also hitch a ride in a beautifully refurbished trolley car that dates back to the early 1900s.
The Neon Sign Museum, the first of its kind in Canada, features restored neon signs from Edmonton’s past. There’s 20 neon signs on the east wall of the TELUS building and the south wall of the Mercer Warehouse building on 104 Street and 104 Avenue.
Best bit? It’s free, and open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
