3. Girls & Boys
Vegan ice cream has come to the fore in recent years and this is a place where it tastes every bit as good as the real thing – if not better.
They serve super tasty ice creams and desserts, made without animal products nor refined white sugar, using only quality ingredients. The result? A treat that you will absolutely love with zero dairy.
4. Sister of Soul
Located in St Kilda, this is the perfect place to base a day by the beach around.
As well as having amazing food and coffee this is a restaurant that is ethical in everything that they do. That includes donating their leftovers and waste to to Kilda Veg Out Community Gardens to help grow more plants.
Everything on the menu is delicious, but their pancakes and coffee make for a winning combination.
5. The Cornish Arms Hotel
They’ve done what very few have achieved before: create a killer vegan pub menu. It’s proper wholesome food that feels like you are having a cheat meal but is fully plant-based.
An example is the Korean-fried Popcorn “Chickn” wrap. Crunchy fried popcorn chickn tossed in sweet and spicy Korean sauce, with salad, cheez, pickles and mayo in a soft jumbo tortilla. Served with thick cut chips and salad. As you can see below, it looks absolutely mouth watering.

One of the things that people think vegans would miss out on most would be pizza. How wrong they are, as the vegan and gluten free pies that are served here show.
Along with other Italian classics which feature inventive cooking and brilliant vegan hacks make this a place you simply cannot afford to miss. Divine.
7. Gong De Lin
A brilliant veggie restaurant that has many vegan dishes on offer. They focus on Asian flavours and their dumplings, noodles and soups are as good as anything you will taste in the city.
