If ever a city was made for Instagram then it was Toulouse. Its nickname is La Ville Rose (‘The Pink City’) because of the red-pink clay bricks that are used in the buildings.

Throw in a gorgeous summer-y climate and its exciting fusion of cultures from being so close to the Spanish border and you’ve got a real gem of a place to visit.

Get your camera out and get ready to take some amazing shots of this lovely French city.

1. Jardin Japonais

A little peaceful zen oasis of calm that will help you escape the madness of the city. Beautifully manicured trees and a cute little red bridge to pose on. What more could you ask for from a summer stroll?
