Marylebone station is located in the Marylebone area of the City of Westminster and it’s a central London railway terminus and London Underground station.

The Underground station is on the Bakerloo Line between Edgware Road and Baker Street and the overground station is the southern terminus of the Chiltern Main Line to Birmingham on the National Rail network. This is the 26th-busiest station in the UK, processing 16.7 million passengers annually.

The history of this station stretches back to 1899, when it first opened as the London terminus of the Great Central Main Line, which linked the capital to Leicester, Manchester and Sheffield. It’s one of the smallest of London’s main rail termini, was the last to be built and despite threats of closure in the 1980s, found a new lease of life in 1993 when its new connection with Chiltern Main Line commenced. It was expanded by two platforms in 2006 and subsequently enhanced its offering with services to Birmingham and Oxford.

Booking car was easy. I did an enquiry beforehand and they didnt answer my email. Process on day of receiving car was lengthy but we received the car not very clean and with only 1/4 tank petrol. However, we never had a problem, made sure we handed in the car all clean and tidy and with 1/2 tank petrol. It was quick and easy, just sign off and away we went, after nearly 2000 mile.

Good experience and value for base rental but needed to check the detailed fine print carefully more than other companies I have used. Credit card used needed to not expire for several weeks after rental period. Take lots of photos all around vehicle to confirm original condition.

I went to pick up the car in the morning and couldn’t because I didn’t have the physical card that I initially paid with. I offered alternative payment methods but was told I had to use the physical card used originally. As this was a virtual card they couldn’t accept as per t’s and c’s. So they were happy to take the virtual card payment but not happy to continue with the virtual card on arrival and couldn’t accept alternative payment methods when I offered them either. Waste of time and money on this occasion, unfortunately.

Reception was excellent, checking in and out was seamless. Only complaint glass was dirty in the vehicle, asked the detailer on site and he cleaned it right there on the spot. So minor delay in leaving but overall a great experience.

Good service and quick and easy to collect and drop off the car,
