Congratulations – you’ve successfully picked up your hire car and are getting on the road! First, leave the car hire pick-up zone and follow the signs to exit the airport grounds. You’ll drive up a ramp to the elevated MA-23 link road which is along the back of the car hire agency area. Stay on the link road – it will join onto the M-20 motorway with signs directing you to Malaga.
Malaga Airport has a variety of car hire suppliers, including a range of well-known international brands and lesser-known local suppliers. Niza is an excellent local car hire supplier, while Europcar, Alamo, and Avis are well-known international brands.

More alarmingly, I discovered documents from a previous customer, including reservation details and sensitive information such as their passport number, still inside the car. This not only reflects a lapse in your standard cleaning procedures but also poses a serious identity security risk. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied and questioning the diligence of your team in ensuring client privacy and service quality. I emailed Goldcar customer service with attached photos on the first day. Two weeks later, I still have had no answer. | |

They have only put back on a small amount despite the car being returned in the exact same condition and with a full tank of fuel too- I have petrol station receipt. You drop off your key in a post box and therefore no way to check what will be refunded. I have photos and videos of the vehicle at the start and end of the rental to prove the condition of the car and the mileage. | |

Robert Arden | We were disappointed by Record Go. We waited approximately 45 minutes in Malaga for an agent to be available to process our booking. They gave us a very hard sell on excess insurance, despite the fact that I had already bought that at the same time as booking the car hire. When we got down to the car park the car that had been reserved for us had a lot of damage, and I refused it. I was offered another car that looked fine on the face of it but later that day I discovered had an oil leak. This meant I had to spend the first evening of my holiday arranging for the car to be recovered and for a taxi back to Malaga airport to pick up another car, which took all of the following morning. The staff, whilst not unpleasant, were not at all apologetic. I won't be using Record Go again as I don't think they check the cars properly. | |

I got the fiat 500 which we wanted, all previous damage on it had been recorded on the initial document. They pre charge you for a full tank of fuel and €900 for damage excess plus recovery fee would be extra. Car worked flawlessly and we drove it all over Malaga and Granada. Drop off was simply done in 2 minutes which was great. Would recommend, just remember you'll have to wait an hour to get the car as they're so busy. | |

Leslie Wise | I was offered a free upgrade to have an all electric car and that the battery was fully charged and I could use all 400kms for free that it would provide. However when I returned the car with 10% battery and 42kms remaining the receiving customer services representative was not happy. She said that the car should not be returned with such a low battery and that I may be charged up to 450€ if the car broke down on its way to being recharged!!!. Its unbelievable that at Malaga airport multi-storey car park, where OK have their base, that they do not have charging facilities. In the end the CSR contacted their manager who accepted the situation and I was advised there would be no charge. If you hire an electric car I recommend you check what the minimum battery charge should be when you return it. | |

So I had no choice but to pay Goldcar, AGAIN for Excess Protection Insurance which was over twice the amount which I had already paid Enjoy Travel .Com when I booked the car hire. | |
