Located 275m above sea level, it’s packed with dramatic stalagmites and stalactites, and was recorded in the history books back in 45 AD, although it’s known to have been a dwelling place for Neanderthal man more than 40,000 years ago. Meanwhile, for something really different, take in a live music, ballet or theatrical performance in the natural amphitheatre of Cathedral Cave.
- If you’ve got a head for heights, another thrilling attraction is the Skywalk, which his one of the most popular features at the Gibraltar Nature reserve and offers beautiful views from 340m above sea level. Another nearby attraction where you can take a spectacular selfie is the Windsor Suspension Bridge, a 71m long structure spanning a 50m gorge which is an ideal spot for catching one of the world’s best sunsets.
