Appreciate the fine arts
The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes, or Museum of Fine Arts of Rennes, is a 200-year-old gallery that displays some of France’s most exquisite artworks. When it was founded after the French Revolution, its collection consisted entirely of pieces that had been confiscated from the Church and nobility. Since then, however, the museum expanded its scope, coming to include pieces from painters such as Charles Le Brun, Matthias Stom and Maurice Denis, and drawings by prodigies like Leonardo da Vinci.
