There seems a lack of synch between Lutam and EnjoyTravel eg recovery is included in EnjoyTravel terms but Lutam didn’t think so and excluded it. There also seemed to be a reason the Lutam agent needed to call her supervisor (who wasn’t available), reason wasn’t specified, but something to do with Enjoy t&c’s.

Car Hire at Nice Airport is much of a muchness, but Alamo take a much smaller deposit than others, the staff were all friendly, the car was great, the process was fast & efficient and I'll definitely use them again.

Frans Molenaars	Service from Lutam was good. It was pointed to us clearly where to pick up the car and we got the car quickly. It wasn’t clear to us that we had to give a € 1.200,— deposit for the car though. The car was a Fiat 500 which is good for driving in the mountains and very economic. And to our surprise, it even fitted four rather tall dutch people in it! On return the people from Lutam were very helpful and efficient. They even saved the sweater we forgot at the rental when we picked up the car. Overall a good service, which we highly recommend.

Given that some lower cost alternatives were available a shuttle ride away, that was annoying. The service was ok. Almost no waiting time. The car was in typical french car condition, despite only 15000km scratches all over and the front left speaker not working.

Car was great - they didn't mention I had been upgraded but it certainly seemed to be a far superior car than the one I had booked. I have deducted a star because at the desk Gold Car tried to do a very hard sell on insurance despite my telling them that I had already got comprehensive insurance in place. I did not succumb although my son-in-law who arrived later did get pressured into it. That was slightly annoying in spite of that I would definitely use Enjoy Travel and Gold Car again.

You think you will get your car from the airport, but instead you have to wait almost 1 hour for their shuttle which takes you to their office that is far from the airport. The same goes one you return the car. Tiring and inconvenient
Alistair Fairweather	Car was as advertised (Fiat 500C) and the location for collection in Nice easily found. Easy hand over and off we went. However car didn’t seem to be running correctly, the engine beginning to rattle on tick over and within a day the low oil level warning light kept coming on repeatedly. I checked the level and oil was almost non-existent on the dip stick. Therefore bought a litre of the correct oil and topped it up to a better level. Within a few miles the car ran better and gave no further issues. I forgot to get a receipt for the oil, although I had some left over and returned it with the car. It remains to be seen if Lutam refund me the €24 for the oil. It should be a check that’s done before any car leaves a hire depot and it was disappointing that it hadn’t been done. I think without the check I made, the engine might have been badly damaged. Hopefully this was a one off issue but make sure you check this before heading off.

It was well sign posted and the staff were efficient and helpful. I was asked to a large deposit because I take out separate annual excess insurance. This deposit is being retained for up to one month after the return of the car, which I do not view as acceptable. If the deposit were refunded on return of the vehicle, I would have given a five star review.

Sprawdź i porównaj widoczne uszkodzenia z raportem uszkodzeń który dostajesz z umową. Zwracałem samochód po tygodniu o 5 rano poza godzinami pracy wyporzyczalni. Samochód na wyznaczone pole. Nie da się nie trafić. Kluczyki do skrzynki. Zwrot kaucji na drugi dzień. Drugi raz nie brałbym tylko dużego SUVa ponieważ wszędzie jest dosyć wąsko ale poza tym faktem wszystko było ok Polecam

But the issue was that when booking I chose extras: toddler seat for 17€ and extra driver for 19€. When receiving the car it turned out I had to pay 70€ for the child seat and the second driver option was missing altogether from my reservation. This was a bit frustrating.
