The employees were very professional, nothing to say about that. In addition, EnjoyTravel will not reimburse us for the costs we incurred to reserve the car before leaving. The rental company isn't very professional as the car wasn't cleaned or checked before being rented. A few days during rental, there was a tyre issue, which should have been there from before, and I had to spend a whole day getting it fixed at a garage. Initialy the rental company wanted to downplay the situation, suggesting I could drive with it. Luckily, I was close to the rental company and I had to visit their office and this issue sorted. First, we arrived in Marseille and were informed by email that we had to find the shuttle near one of the parking terminals, but no details were provided. It took us one hour to find the shuttle, and this was by chance. More specific instructions would have been necessary. When picking up the car, we were railroaded into taking additional insurance (around 80 euros) to pay for towing of the car should it conk out somewhere. The first car provided did not have a funnctional gps. The second car did but it was not very clean and the wiper on the driver’s side did not work well. On the positive side, the people at the rental office were very polite and helpful and the price of the vehicle was good. | |

David Speight | On the lead up to my trip to Marseille, the car rental Co sent two different emails, changing the pick point for our shuttle to their premises which is outside the airport. We were asked to wait in one of the car parks. Unfortunately, it was nigh on impossible to find this location! When we finally found the location, we had to wait around 30 mins to be picked up. We arrived at Rentscape, only to be offered a completely different vehicle class to the one I had booked. When I complained, I was basically told, this is all we have, take it or leave it! As I had to pick up another three people (clients) with all their luggage, this vehicle was completely unsuitable. It was only as I drove away (my fault) I noticed that the fuel level was only 3/4 full. On returning the vehicle, the guy started to try and charge me for the lightest scratch on the back end of the car, which I know was already there. I had done a video on my phone before we set off with the car, but this scratch was so light, and the sun so bright that it really didn't show up. Thankfully, when I kicked up a fuss, the guy let it go. Lots of people were having the same issues with not being able to find the pick up point. I wouldn't use the company ever again, and will always look to use the airport based companies in future. Not an experience I want to repeat! | |
