Follow the signs to the car park, where Automatic Number Plate Recognition reads your registration and raises the barrier for you, making entry and exit quick and fuss-free. Find a bay, park up and keep hold of your keys, then take the short five- to seven-minute walk to the terminal, with no shuttle bus involved. When you get back, return to your car, and the ANPR system recognises your booking at the exit barrier, letting you straight out.

Mid Stay 3 is also the Mid Stay car park for accessible parking, with 18 dedicated Blue Badge bays, so it's the one to choose if you need a marked accessible space close to the terminal.

How to get there
  1. 1 Exit the M1 or A42 onto the A453 and follow the road to the main entrance to the airport.
  2. 2 At the first roundabout, take the first exit, then go straight on at the second roundabout.
  3. 3 At the third roundabout, take the first exit, continue for around 150 metres, and the entrance to Mid Stay 3 will be on your left.
