    Northern Lights Executive Lounge at Aberdeen Airport (ABZ)

    Tucked up on the first floor airside, near Gate 1, Northern Lights Executive Lounge is Aberdeen's one proper bookable lounge, and it does a decent job of covering everyone who passes through it, from offshore workers catching a flight home after weeks on a rig to families heading off on holiday. Once you're through security, it's a short walk up to somewhere quieter than the main departures floor, with a seat that's actually yours rather than one you've fought a suitcase for.
