What to Expect from an Airport Lounge at Dubai Airport?
Dubai International Airport is the main airport serving Dubai, the largest city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The airport has three passenger terminals and offers a wide range of services and amenities for travellers. That includes numerous dining and shopping options, free Wi-Fi throughout the airport, lounges to unwind and relax before departures or during transits, and a variety of transport options to and from the airport, including taxis, buses, and rental cars.
A great way of adding comfort and excitement to your travels is by indulging in the services offered by airport lounges. Travelling can be tiring, especially with children, so airport lounges are the best way to make your wait as comfortable as possible, allowing you to freshen up, and catch up on much-needed rest.
Dubai Airport offers several airport lounges. All are open 24 hours, 7 days a week – excluding the British Airways lounge. All lounges allow access to children if accompanied by a paying adult, with some lounges even offering family services.
Dubai and the UAE in general is an Islamic, modest state, so although there isn't a specific dress code to enter any of these lounges, it is generally expected that passengers will dress in a manner that is respectful and appropriate for the lounge environment. It is advised to avoid wearing clothing that is too casual or revealing, such as shorts, tank tops, flip-flops, or beachwear. It is also recommended that passengers avoid wearing clothing with offensive language or graphics.
The airport lounges available at Dubai International Airport are as follows:
