Munich International Airport features six lounges from different airlines, most of which feature different amenities to keep you comfortable and entertained before or after you board your flight. Munich’s Premier Lounges offer food and drink options, seating and conveniences like wifi, workstations and telephones. Located next to security in Terminal 1, Module B, the Airport Lounge World spans 2 floors, giving you optimal space and assurance that you’ll find a seat. It features modern decor, friendly staff on hand, and picturesque views. Aircon, showers, free wifi, and a wide selection of food and drink options are also available. This lounge is open from 5:00am to 10:00pm.

Food and Beverage Offerings

The lounge features a food station that offers a selection of hot and cold food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the quality of which has been highly praised. There are also snacks and lighter bites available, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages– please only drink if you are over the age of 18. As per Germany’s drinking age, those aged 16 and over can drink beer and wine only.

Work and Relaxation Zones

For relaxation, this lounge features day beds, comfortable seating, and a selection of entertainment options such as newspapers, magazines, and a large TV, as well as free Wi-Fi which is perfect for downloading videos or watching streaming services. As for workstations, there are numerous tables perfect for laptop workers, and you can even hire out conference spaces, but this must be done in advance.

How to Book

Book directly with Enjoy Travel for the best prices. Children under the age of 2 can access the lounge for free. Please note that you must show a valid boarding pass and lounge ticket for the day of your flight, and certain airlines allow access to the lounge. Access is allowed 3 hours before your scheduled flight departure and to access the lounge, you must be departing on a non-Schengen flight.

Walk-In Availability

Walk-in access is available by paying at the front desk– this costs around €55 per person and is subject to meeting all the requirements.

Booking online is unavailable– access depends on the type of flight ticket you have. Access is allowed for business and first-class passengers, and holders of either Emirates or Qantas Gold & Platinum memberships.

How to Book

Booking is available online via Enjoy Travel, and you can also access the lounge via walk-in (subject to availability). Costs are from €40 per person. *Also at Munich Airport, you can find numerous Lufthansa Business and First-Class Lounges located in Terminal 2, and a VIP Lounge in the VIP Wing Terminal. These more upscale lounges feature premium food and beverage options, workstations and business facilities like photocopying and printing facilities, showers, and super-fast Wi-Fi. Some first-class lounges also feature private rooms and full sit-down dining. Access can be booked online or via walk-in.
